Club Finals Day: September 15th 2013

A very competitive Finals Day was watched by a small, but hardy, group of members on Sunday afternoon; the weather was shocking - windy, drizzly and cold.

Against the odds, all the Finals were played, even the Mixed final (through the pouring rain).

The results were :

• Mens Singles:
  Marc Gilkes beat Reuben Cox 6-2, 6-1.
  
  
• Ladies Doubles:
  Charlotte Smith & Judy Canning beat Michelle Blee & Trish Lewis 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.
  
  
• Mens Doubles:
  Marc Gilkes & Rob Gray beat Gary Jackson & Kyle Smith 6-7, 7-6, 6-2.
  
  
• Mixed Doubles:
  Marc Gilkes & Caroline Thom beat Gary Jackson & Trish Lewis 6-2, 7-6.
