Welcome to the Banbury Tennis Club Website!

We play on the Banbury Sports Ground, situated off Horton View which runs between the Horton Hospital entrance on the Oxford Road and the Banbury School entrance along Springfield Avenue. Our tennis facility consists of six 'all weather' courts and a single room clubhouse. Two of the courts are floodlit and are used for club nights during the winter.

Tennis club members are able to use the adjacent pavilion facilities that include toilets, showers, and Bowls Club bar and lounge.

Club nights are on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 6.30pm. New members and visitors are always welcome!

Banbury Tennis Club Open Day 2017

Please join us at Banbury Lawn Tennis Club on Saturday 22 July 2017, at any point between 1.30 and 4.30pm, for some free tennis! All ages and abilities welcome! We look forward to seeing you there ... find out more here.

Reserve your place! Even if you don't fancy a coaching session, why not just try out our facilities? You can book a slot on one of the courts for free! Coaches and members will be available to help you if needed!

At the event, please look out for the membership offer that will be available on the day.

Great British Tennis Weekend event

Once again we held a Free Tennis Event at our Horton View venue to promote the game of tennis and also to bring awareness of tennis to the people in Banbury and the surrounding villages. We welcomed everyone of all ages, whether a Beginner, Improver, Advanced or professional. It was great so many wanted to be part of this fun day of tennis at our club.

The Great British Tennis Weekend is a great way for families and friends to learn about tennis and try it for free in their local area. Tennis is a sport for anyone.

'Mid Season' Celebration Evening Tournament

Our 'mid summer' evening club tournament went well, with a really good mix of new as well as older members! The evening was run as an American Tournament and the winners were Val Swann and new member Matt Dale. Well played all. We'll try to arrange another soon!
